Recently, I was lucky to catch up with @MichaelHolt the man behind thejuntohub.com.au considering how many things he has going on.
Michael's passion and vision towards building a place for guys to go and build their confidence through fitness as a foundation building block was truely encouraging and exciting. I loved how genuinely enthusiastic about what he's working on and his passion towards helping others being the clear driving force behind it all.
The Junto Hub based in Newcastle (Adamstown) is a space and a network that supports men's physical, emotional and spiritual development which is quickly becoming known as the best community of support in and out of the gym.
They run challenges throughout the year which work on leadership, team work, camaraderie and self-confidence. This year's 3 event series will be like no other. With emphasis on self development, there is a mix of things which include strength, endurance and a dinner style event. Check it out here for more info and to register your interest.
Something I enjoy discussing with people is how they are applying their enthusiasm and range of skills to help other people in their community and this is a prime example of this. Its great to hear, particularly as we (hopefully) overcome this Coronavirus and the impact it's having on our community with mental health. The Junto Hub is somewhere guys can get together and have a yarn and be surrounded by a positive and uplifting environment.
